8/15/19 Welcome to TK and Kindergarten

	Welcome to TK and Kindergarten! Dear parents, Welcome to the Dual Immersion Program and the 2019 - 2020 school year. The first day of school will take place on Monday, August 26th. We will be have TK and Kindergarten orientation on the first day of school.  During this orientation, we will introduce ourselves, go over the curriculum, homework, policies, discipline, classroom procedures, daily routines and expectations for the school year. We will also answer any questions you may have. All AM kindergarten students will attend school from 8:20 to 11:40 am, however class will start at 9:00 am ONLY on the first day of school. This is necessary in order to conduct a one hour Kindergarten Orientation and avoid traffic jams and facilitate parking. All PM Kindergarten and TK students will start school at 11:50 to 3:10 pm. Orientation will be held from 11:50 to 12:50 on the first day of school. If your child is enrolled in Mrs. Quintana or Mrs. Olivares class orientation will be held in room K1 at your respective times. If your is enrolled in Mrs. Lopez or Ms. Lira class orientation will be held in room K2. Students do not need to bring anything to school on the first day of school. A small will be provided for your child. We look forward to meeting you soon. Class lists will be posted at 4:00 pm on the wall of the MPR. Queridos padres, Bienvenido al Programa de Inmersión Dual del año escolar 2019-2020. El primer día de clases se llevara acabo el lunes 26 de agosto. Tendremos orientación de TK y Kindergarten el primer día de clases. Durante esta orientación, nos presentaremos, hablaremos  sobre el plan de estudio de la tarea, la disciplina, los procedimientos de la clase, las actividades diarias y las expectativas del año escolar. También contestaremos cualquier pregunta que puedan tener. Todos los alumnos del turno matutino asistiran a la escuela de 8:20 to 11:40 am, sin embargo, la clase comenzará a las 9:00 am SOLAMENTE el primer día de clases. Esto es necesario para llevar a cabo una orientación de kindergarten de una hora y evitar el tráfico y facilitar el estacionamiento. Todos los alumnos del turno vespertino de Kindergarten y TK asistirán la escuela a las 11:50 a 3:10 pm. La orientación se llevará a cabo de 11:50 a 12:50 el primer día de clase. Si su hijo/a está en la clase de la Sra. Quintana o la Sra. Olivares, la orientación tendrá lugar en el salon K1. Si su hijo/a está en la clase de Sra. López o Sra. Lira, la orientación tendrá lugar en el salón K2. No es necesario mandar nada el primer dia de la escuelas.  Se le proveerá una pequeña merienda a su hijo/a. Esperamos conocernos muy pronto. Las listas de clases se publicarán a las 4:00 pm en el muro del MPR. No habrá cambios en el salón de clases durante los primeros 10 días de clases.
