  • We really enjoyed both Back to School Night events and are glad we were able to come together as a community both nights. Thank you for spending your valuable time with us!

  • Students are in the middle of MAP testing this week and next. Please be sure they remember to charge their chromebooks.

  • While we know that students do occasionally forget their lunch, we are asking for your help to limit the amount of classroom disruptions that occur during the day, especially with dropping off lunches. We are working with our students to make healthy choices, and are starting to become concerned about the amount of fast food that is being dropped off in the office. This practice is not only disruptive for classroom instruction when they are interrupted to come pick up their lunch from the office, but also outside with other students wanting their friends to share with them. We know it can’t always be avoided, but if it could be limited, it would be much appreciated. As a reminder, students are not allowed to share food with other students as a safety precaution.

    • Teachers will NOT be giving presentations at this event, rather, we are setting it up more like an informal “Meet and Greet” and resource fair where you will have a chance to put a face with the name of each of your child’s teachers and receive a brief handout of important information from each of them. Teachers will be at stations (see the map below) beginning at 5:30 and you have the option to stand in line to meet them briefly at each of their stations, or, if you have less time, you can also quickly swing by each station and grab the handout. The handout will let you know the best way to get a hold of the teacher, and important information for their individual classes.
    • We will also have technology support stations for Aeries and other tech-related questions for parents and a booth to meet our counseling team and receive resources from them. Here is the map that more clearly explains the event:

  • Volleyball tryouts begin September 9th. Please check your emails from our athletic director, Mr. Dierking, for more information about Cross Country and Football (students had a meeting this past week).
