Dear B. Gale Wilson Parent/Guardian: Our school B. Gale Wilson is set to host Kaiser Permanente’s program of Nightmare on Puberty St. on November 1 st , 2019 for all 6th and 7th grade students. This program is a live theatrical performance about four young people and their experience with puberty.
The State of California (Ed Code 51937-51939) mandates parental notiication for programs that focus on sexual health education. State law allows you to take out your student from comprehensive sexual health education or HIV/AIDS prevention education. If you do not want your student to participate in the Nightmare on Puberty St. Program please contact Victoria Escobar, School Counselor on or before Friday, October 25, 2019. ***All students will be permitted to attend the performance unless parents or guardians contact the School Counselor requesting they do not attend by the deadline. Mrs. Escobar can be contacted by email at victoriae@fsusd.org or by telephone at (707) 862-7448 Monday-Thursday 8:05am to 3:20pm & Friday 8:05am to 2:45pm.
